Unbalanced – Rural Root Theatre
Inspired by a real-life 1951 bank robbery in small-town Ontario, Unbalanced blends history, drama, mystery and humour in a story of ambition, secrets and lasting consequences. When the notorious Bond Gang storms a seemingly ordinary bank, the decisions made that day leave an impact that continues to unfold decades later. Written and directed by Peter Veale, the play revisits the scene 20 years later as old wounds, lingering suspicions and new revelations come to light.
