Firefighters National Memorial Day

Today is Firefighters' National Memorial Day. Flags at Town facilities are being flown at half-mast to honour and remember our fallen heroes and remind their families that the sacrifices of their loved ones are not forgotten.

This day is not just about remembering those we’ve lost, it’s also a reminder of the dangers that come with being a firefighter and the courage that it takes for firefighters to regularly put their lives on the line for the people in their community.
