This Art Exhibition is hosted by Olena Chorna Fine Arts | Petrykivka Artist and is dedicated to Ukrainian Heritage Month in Ontario.

The exhibition celebrates Petrykivka decorative painting, a UNESCO-recognized element of Ukraine's Intangible Cultural Heritage, and showcases the creativity and dedication of students from the Petrykivka Program taught by artist and instructor Olena Chorna.

The participating artists are students of all ages who study at Olena Chorna Fine Arts Studio, located at 44 Gaukel Street, First Floor - Flex Space, Kitchener.

At her studio, Olena teaches two distinct artistic traditions:

  • Ukrainian Folk Art – Petrykivka Decorative Painting
  • Classical Fine Art, including drawing, painting, composition, and colour theory.

Through her teaching, Olena's mission is to preserve and share Ukrainian cultural heritage while inspiring students to develop strong artistic skills and express their creativity.
