Sing Pitch Perfect with Deke Sharon & Splüsh
Join the legendary Deke Sharon, ‘Father of Contemporary A Cappella,’ to learn and sing a song from the famous movie franchise.
From the Music Director for the three blockbuster ‘Pitch Perfect’ films! With Deke’s expert guidance, you’ll soon be crushing it with fellow Pitch Perfect fans, entirely a cappella, singing the hit song from the movie, “Since U Been Gone.” Sheet music will be provided for every audience member to join in! You will also be treated to behind-the-scenes stories from the movie making process.
All ages and singing levels – and even non-singers welcome.

Deke Sharon has been called the ‘Father of Contemporary A Cappella’ for having created and popularised the modern a cappella sound, which includes vocal percussion. Music Director, arranger and producer for all three Pitch Perfect Films, he was also local producer and music director of ‘The Sing Off’ (US, South Africa, China, Netherlands). As well as being a judge and clinician for Eurovision Choir 2019, he has produced such gold albums as ‘Straight No Chaser,’ ‘Committed’ and ‘DCappella’.

With experienced performers, an electric stage presence, and innovative in-house arrangements, Splüsh burst onto the national vocal scene earlier this year, taking home First Place and Audience Choice at SING!’s Canadian A Cappella Championships. Equally at home performing crowd-pleasing pop hits and eclectic indie/R&B favourites, Splüsh is the Canadian group to watch.
